Wollongong is the tenth largest city in country and can be found between the Tasman Sea and the mountains, providing a truly Australian experience for international students.
UOW welcomes almost 6000 international students each year to its campuses in Wollongong, the Sydney CBD, and South Western Sydney (Liverpool). The University’s Wollongong campus combines modern teaching facilities with stylish study spaces. UOW’s newest campus is located in Liverpool - a rapidly growing, culturally diverse suburb near Sydney.
The University has an excellent international reputation for teaching standards across all of its faculties, and has an exceptional record of getting graduates job-ready. In fact, UOW is ranked among the top 1% for graduate quality in QS World University Graduate Employers survey, and 73.1% of UOW students secure full-time employment within four months of leaving the University.
Students can choose from a range of UOW accommodation options, located on-campus or in the Wollongong CBD, including brand new self-catered facilities in Kooloobong Village. Students are provided with brilliant academic and wellbeing support throughout their time at UOW, and have access to the online CareerHub which supports them in their job search.
With 120 clubs and societies, and more than 60 sports teams, UOW’s UniActive provides top-class sporting facilities to help you stay active. Live international acts entertain throughout the year at the UniBar.
UOW has a strong international focus and reputation, and offers a range of exchanges, scholarships and bursaries which assist students to transfer from its Dubai, and Hong Kong campuses, from partner institutions in Singapore, and Malaysia, and from four Chinese universities.
