This new double degree will present opportunities for students in the evolving field of legislative responses to information technology innovation and the growth of information systems for legal decision making and procedures. The Information Technology degree focuses on the application of computer-based technologies and systems to meet individual and organisational information needs. It enables students to gain the knowledge and skills needed to use IT effectively and to use, develop and mange IT-based systems. The Law degree provides students with a solid foundation in the concepts, procedures and reasoning underpinning the Australian legal system and the research, analytical and communication skills of the legal profession.

At the time of enrolment in a course at Monash University, you must be at least 17 years of age. All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score. Level C IELTS (Academic): 7.0 Overall score, with minimum band scores: Listening 6.5, Reading 6.5, Writing 6.5 and Speaking 6.5 Pearson Test of English (Academic): 65 Overall score, with minimum scores: Listening 58, Reading 58, Speaking 58 and Writing 58 TOEFL Internet-based test: 94 Overall score, with minimum scores: Reading 19, Listening 20, Speaking 20 and Writing 24

Applications for Year 12 students are open 2 August - 8 October, submit a scholarship application through VTAC For current Monash students, applications are open 17 January - 4 March apply directly to Monash. Note: To be considered for this scholarship, you must have applied for a course and be offered a place at Monash. This scholarship cannot be deferred.

You must meet the following criteria: A person who is in Australia and currently on: a Bridging Visa E, or a Bridging Visa A and has applied for a Permanent Protection visa, or a Temporary Protection Visa, or a Safe Haven Enterprise Visa. A commencing or continuing student enrolled or intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree as an international student at a Monash campus in Australia. Preference will be given to a student enrolling in a Bachelor of Engineering (any specialisation). If no suitable candidate is available, students enrolling in a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Information Technology will then be considered. To retain this scholarship: You must maintain a credit average (60% or above) each semester. You must maintain full-time enrolment You must continue to participate as an Access Monash Mentor
