No matter where you want to go, a Monash College Diploma can take you there. A Science (Education) diploma opens a world of opportunity into areas of Chemistry, Physics, Data Management, Psychology and Biology. The new education pathway is an idea way to double your career options, with the education studies specialisation fast-tracking you into the second year of an Education (Honours) and Science double degree*. You will complete six core science units and two education units. You will also complete 10 days of professional experience in a Victorian classroom. Choose this Diploma if you; Want to fast-track in the second year of an Education (Honours) and Science double degree. Want to make an immediate start on your teaching career. Want to study Chemistry, Physics, Data Management, Psychology or Biology and would like to study subjects directly related to these areas. Minimum Entry Requirements Australian Year 12 (part 2). All applicants must satisfy the following prerequisites or their equivalents. English Maths Sciences/Other Australian VCE subjects Study score in units 3 and 4 (Australian Year 12) in English as an Additional Language (EAL): 30 or any other English: 25. Maths Students must have successfully completed Mathematics to an Australian Year 11 equivalent standard. Sciences/Other Students must have successfully completed Chemistry to an Australian Year 11 equivalent standard. English entry requirements Diploma Part 1 IELTS: 5.5 overall (no band lower than 5.0) TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 52 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 15, Listening: 5, Reading: 5 and Speaking: 14 Equivalent approved English test Diploma Part 2 IELTS: 6.0 overall (Writing not less than 6.0) TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 69 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21
