The requirements for admission listed below are minimum requirements and do not guarantee admission to the program. Candidates holding an honours bachelor's degree in education or equivalent, with a minimum overall undergraduate average of 70% (B). Candidates who hold an honours bachelor's degree with at least a 70% (B) average but who do not hold an honours bachelor's degree in education are required to take an Extended Program comprised of up to three additional three-unit courses during the M.Ed., including the course EDU 5101, which must be completed during the first term in which it is offered following admission. These courses are intended to expose candidates to foundational concepts, theories and research in education. Applications for admission will not be considered until all supporting documents have been received. Correspondence should be directed to the academic secretariat of the Faculty of Education. Students and the Faculty are bound by conditions that exist at the time of admission and initial enrollment.
