Environmental Management Bsc (Hons)

Environmental Management BSc (Hons) explores the key issues we face as a society from an environmental management, human and physical geography perspective. You will consider the environment and how to manage the sustainability of its resources, from examining the quality of the air to determining the impact of pathogens in our water. You will develop scientific skills and knowledge through classroom, laboratory and project work in areas including air, water, ecology and environmental assessment. Field trips help bring learning to life and guest lecturers from industry share their experience with you to give you a real insight into the working environment. Graduate Destinations Our Environmental graduates have gone on to careers in organisations such as the Environment Agency, Southern Water, Low Carbon Europe, and GIS consultancies, in roles such as nature conservation, waste management, environmental consultant and geoinformatics systems.
