Introduction This course is for you if you know you want to work in the world of sport and performance and are looking for a deeper understanding of applied sport physiology. Our teaching laboratories are accredited by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES). How this course is delivered We've made some changes to the way our courses are taught to keep everyone safe, connected and involved in university life. Now, students have a blend of on-campus and digitally enabled remote learning that provides lots of opportunities to interact and engage with lecturers and other students. You can exit with PGDip & PGCert awards. Careers Career opportunities for applied sport physiologists are growing, with applied performance physiology being recognised as a vital ingredient in the success and development of most sports, and for the individuals that take part it is an everyday aspect of their training. Some of our graduate’s work with sport’s governing bodies as applied physiologists or directly with sports teams. Others have set up their own consultancy services, or work in the public and private sector as physiologists. Some graduates focus on research positions in industry or with organisations such as the Ministry of Defence. This MSc is also ideal preparation for continuing your studies at PhD level.
