Our Electrical and Electronic Engineering BEng (Hons) course provides a strong foundation in engineering expertise, exploring fundamental theories and how to apply them. With a focus on employability, the course is designed with input from industry experts and the accrediting body. Our Industrial Advisory Board contributes to the ongoing development of the programme, keeping it up-to-date and relevant. If you achieve the required standard in year 2, you can choose to progress directly to the third year of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering MEng and study towards a masters-level qualification. The course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) as partially meeting the educational requirements for chartered engineer (CEng) status. Our graduates are now working in companies including Rolls-Royce, Network Rail, Southern Water, Edwards High Vacuum, and Innogy.
